Ch. 1 A Dream...No, A Living Nightmare
Vergil walked down the street, happy as could be, and why shouldn’t he? The sun was shining, casting its golden rays upon the earth. The sky was a clear light blue for as far as the eye could see, and then there was the people. Every person that he walked past smiled and waved at him.
"Hi Vergil, its good to see you."
"V, we should get some drinks later."
"Oh Vergil...call me."
He grinned and continued down the crowded street until an explosion of color appeared in the corner of his eye. Over to the left was a beautiful assortment of wild flowers. They were blue, green, purple, yellow, and every other color of the rainbow. He walked over to smell them, but as soon as he came close the flowers began to wilt. As he came closer the plants turned brown. Their decayed petals fell off and drifted away in the wind.
The sky suddenly grew dark, and the gentle breeze swiftly turned into a gale. Instantly the o...
