Summary:
This is a story about two lovers who meet a tragic end. It tugged at my heart while I wrote it.

Lovers Last End              His axe swung down hard and split the log in half. Looking down at the split log he smiled as the cut was perfect down the middle. Picking up the two peices of the log he set them atop a pyramid of logs he had been cutting all morning. Swinging his axe he stuck it into the well marked stump he used for cutting the lumber. He started to walk towards the river to clean off form a hard days work, hearing a noise in behind a bush his ears perked up and he froze. Slowly he turned his head in the direction of the noise just as a small rock whizzed through the air and hit him in the back of the head. "Ha! I got you that time Anthony."   Whirling around to see the fox standing there who was pointing and laughing, Anthony started to laugh and called out, "Yeah, yeah you did.
