The tall half-human kitsune sheathed his katana with with a slow grace as the men of the opposing army lay dying in the battlefield around him, their moans of agony and their whimpers of pain fading away as each life flickered and finally blew out, like candles in a strong wind. His bloodstained leather armor seemed to carry a dull sheen, even in the dim lighting of the fading twilight sun, so soaked was it with the lifeblood of his fallen enemies, and his own blood as well. He wasnt a god, as his unit believed, nowhere close, but he needed to keep up appearances to show his respect to the dead men who used to be his squad, layed low by these rogues. He turned slowly in the dim light, revealing himself to me slowly, his entire fearsome and gracef...
