It was early march and the chill of winter still hung on the late evening air.  Alex and Alice where up in the hay loft in the stable behind the guild house.  It had become their favorite hiding spot because it was out of the way but Alex could still hear if the guild master and Alice’s father Sir Windcrest called.
            Alex was a tall young stallion with a unique brown and black brindle coat, light brown eyes and a black mane.  Alice was a little older than Alex and had a lathy body.  She was brown with white socks and a white diamond on her forehead.
            It all started so innocently.  They were up in the loft talking like they always did. Alice made a fun remake and lighted shyly.  Alex told her she had beautiful laugh and looked cute when she did so. She kissed him playfully.  Their eyes locked and they kissed again this time more passiona...
