"That dragon had to pick yesterday to make a raid on the village," Jade muttered to himself as he climbed up the sides of said dragon's mountain, the sides rocky and icy. "He just had to pick yesterday. If he had waited two days, I could have passed through this village, no trouble, no people asking for protection. Instead, I get looped into this because they are so desperate to have this 'monster' dealt with that they'll hire anyone with the slightest bit of fighting experience," he growled to himself, his claws easily pulling him up the rocky cliffs.
 
As his spears clacked against his back, he remembered the village down below, and the people that were even now hoping that he'd be able to slay the dragon that lived inside this mountain...
