THE ALTERNATE WORLD
PART 1 INTRO
My name is Jason Whiteley, I'm 16 years old and welcome to my boring-as-anything-ever world. I live in a semi rural town in England and go to a local high school called Everingtons. Both are the epitome of all boredom.
I guess I should start with the basics, there are four species in my world. Humans, Hanae, Jäsur and Jägae. Hanae are the race of horse people. They have arms and legs with hands and feet just like humans, but the males have a mane that runs to halfway down their back whereas the females have normal hair. Both genders also have muzzles for their mouth and large nostrils. Jäsur are wolves, also of rough human form. They too have muzzles, canine noses and larger eyes than humans. Finally the Jägae are a race of Leopard people. They have cat like faces and features, unique spot patterns in their fur and claws that can rip a man's head clean off if you were stupid enough to mess around with them.
I have a small group of friends at school which seems to be growing larger occasionally. There's Henry, a human and my best friend, Aaron a Jägae, Christian the Hanae, Oliver the other human, Keri the Jäsur and finally Charlotte (but everyone calls her Wacky) the Hanae. We're always messing around in the school yard or canteen and generally not paying attention in lessons.
Before I continue you should probably know that the four races had a huge war over dominance for hundreds of years. Nobody won, a peace treaty was signed but I wont lie, humans came in last, no, we got our asses handed to us. Don't get me wrong I hold nothing against the other species for it but you need to know.
Its my first day back at school tomorrow. I always both love and loathe this day because I get to see my friends again but I have to soldier through endless school work. My headteacher Miss Lee hadn't got a clue how to run a school, so the first days were always my depiction of Hell. Miss Lee had always annoyed me and my friends, after she would tell us off for some trivial incident we would flip her the finger and tell her to go fuck herself behind her back, much to the amusement of our fellow students.
I think that's just about everything covered for now. I have told you about myself and my friends and I have set the venue of my story. The lights now shine onto the playing field.
