Walking on Sunshine

By Purplewuff(Softpaw)

“Married girl don’t you wanna, smoke a lil mariuana?  Take some time and have a drink…” The music can be heard very faintly as the husky is typing away on his laptop.  The light flows so warmly onto his feathered fur, arms gently resting in his lap as he sits for a moment just to enjoy the feeling.  He’s happy for the first time in a while, and he can’t explain why.  The dust particles drift by swaying to the rhythm of the 50’s lounge music played so lightly from the laptop speakers.

The husky smiles and watches them as they dance in pairs.  “Everyone seems to be getting along lately, no?” he says, the grin never quite leaving his face.

He looks up at the clock, already knowing what time it is, but old habits die hard.  “Five already, mustn’t keep her waiting.  Now that would be a site, Sarah waiting for me.”  The grin becomes a giggle as the husky light-heartedly swings his hands behind his head and relaxes for a moment.

“She can wait…”

Suddenly the dust that was dancing around the room becomes a Canine and his loving girl, holding each other sweetly.  The canine dips the girl with grace and elegance, letting the tips of her hair just barely touch the floor.  She smiles at him, he returns the favor, and they’re the center of attention for those few brief moments.

Suddenly the band stops playing, and all the dancers turn to shadows as the canine takes the spotlight with his lovely girl.  He gets down on one knee, and takes the girl by the hand.  He pulls a small box containing the most beautiful ring she’s ever seen.  His lips begin to move but no words come out.  Instead, there’s an annoying ringing noise, and it’s deafening!

The husky opens his eyes and realizes the fantasy is over.  He looks at the phone that now reads: “one missed call: Sarah”.

“It can’t be” The clock reads 6:15 “…damn.”

He gets up, nearly tripping over his laptop, and rushes to put on some clothes.  There’s no time even to lock the front door as he runs as fast as he can to the car.  It’s a good thing to, the keys are still on the table.  “Take 2, Mr. Spielberg” he announces sarcastically as he runs back to the house to grab them.  Lucky for him they were in their usual place, next to the pile of bills marked “third notice”.  He gets in the car, this time successfully starting it (a task made much easier with the keys), and speeds off.

“I really hope she’s not too mad, us huskies can do a lot of damage when angry or wounded…better call her and let her know I’m running late.”  Surprisingly that thought hadn’t crossed his mind during the mad dash to the car, or during the game of leapfrog on the highway.  He dials the phone awkwardly and positions it between his ear and his shoulder, the way bad drivers have seem to mastered doing this sort of thing.

*ring*…

*ring*…

“Hello?”

“Hey babe, how are you?”

“How do you think Scott?”

“I know, I know, I’m a little late.  I was working on the brochure for the gallery and I just lost track of time is all.  Lately I’ve been doing that and you know that I don’t mean for it to affect you.  No hard feelings?”

“…I guess not, just hurry up and get here, our table is almost up.”

“I’ll be there in five.”

The phone clicked shut and the husky raced onward to the restaurant.  “…” nobody else in the car “…” all the windows up and not another car in sight on the road.

“…”

“I’M WALKIN ON SUNSHINE, WOOOOAAAH, AND IT’S TIME TO FEEL GOOD!”

            “…”

He grinned again, he was happy, he was THAT happy.  Not happy enough to sing it all the way to the restaurant, but happy enough to sing it at least once.  He pulls up to the restaurant, and sure enough, Sarah is nowhere in sight.  He figures she must already be inside, and sure enough he is right.  She’s arguing with someone holding a bunch of menus, then walks toward him looking disappointed.

            “Sarah?”

“Thanks a lot Scott, you know they gave away our table because of you?”

“That’s not right, hold on I’ll have a talk with the manager and we’ll-“

“No Scott, lets just go I’m not even hungry anymore.”

That feeling he had just a few moments ago, was gone.  He was no longer walking on sunshine; instead he was feeling the heat of the sun beating down on him.

“Scott let’s just go to your place and watch a movie or something.”

            “Alright babe, anything you want.”

He could tell she was reluctant and didn’t seem to care all that much about him.  He loved her but didn’t know how to tell her, as far as she knew they were just a couple and not much more.  But as far as he was concerned, they were so much more.  The drive back was silent and tense, neither spoke a word the whole way back.  Thoughts kept racing through Scott’s head about losing Sarah, and they were making him very nervous.  They finally arrive at Scott’s without either of them saying anything as they get out of the car and walk in his front door.

“So…what movie did you wanna watch?”

“Anything, I don’t really care what you pick.  You usually have good taste.”

He figures a romantic comedy would break the tension at the very least.  Sarah plops down on the couch and stretches for a moment while Scott puts it in.  He then plops down next to her, putting his arm around her.  She doesn’t even budge.  He is made uneasy because of this, and has more questions about his relationship now than any one husky should.  After about 20 minutes into the movie, and no words spoken between the two of them, he can’t take it anymore.  He shuts off the TV.

            “Hey!”

“Sarah we’ve really got to talk.”

            “Why?  What’s wrong?”

“Look at me Sarah, I’ve had a lot on my mind for the past few months and I feel like I’ve got to say it.”

She looks into his eyes, a soft shade of green and blue, and notices her own reflection in them.  But can see more than that, she also can see her and Scott standing there together.  It’s not very clear but she can see it.

“I can’t get you outta my head Sarah, I’m really falling for you and I guess what I’m trying to say is…”

It’s very clear now, Sarah can see them both together, but they aren’t standing.  They’re dancing now.  She can hear the music coming from the band as her husky dips her on the dance floor.  Suddenly the spotlight grips them both, and Scott is on the floor.  He’s down on one knee and he is holding out a small box with an absolutely breathtaking ring.  He smiles at her, She smiles at him, and his lips move, but no sound can be heard.  The fantasy fades as Scott utters the 3 words she now longs to hear:

            “I love you…”

Her heart skips a beat, and her face begins to blush.  All she can think of doing is pull him close to her and kiss him.  At first he grazes her lips and sweetly whispers into her ear again:

            “I love you Sarah”

Again, she can’t think of anything else but pressing her lips against his.  This time she slips her tongue into his mouth, and presses it against his as he holds the back of her head.  ‘Everyone seems to be getting along lately’ he thinks to himself.  Her lips soft, and her mouth cool and wet, Scott couldn’t help but feel slightly aroused.  His warm body was now pressing against hers and she could feel it too.  Her tail curled as her eyes closed gently, and she pushed him away.  Scott nearly fell off the couch before sitting back up, but he noticed she was taking her shirt off.  Her figure was like that of a supermodel, slender, and full of curves.  Her breasts so perfectly shaped with white, soft fur stretching across her broad chest.  Scott ran his hands on her neck and led them sensually down her chest until both lay on gently on her sides.  She smiles as he brings his mouth just over her nipples, and he pauses for a moment.  Letting his hot breath tickle the sensitive fur around her nipple just before closing his lips around it.  She sighs with pleasure as her husky begins massaging her thighs while his tongue flicks her nipple back and forth inside his warm and moist mouth.  He pulls on it with his teeth a little, then lets go.  It’s hard now, and she’s starting to breathe heavily.  He kisses them before moving toward her stomach, his mouth just inches away as he works his way down.  It warms her fur and sends a chill up her spine when he reaches her belt buckle.  He quickly undoes it and pulls her pants off completely, leaving only her baby-blue panties on.  He licks them softly once or twice, and this time Sarah lets out a moan of enjoyment.  You can tell she’s really breathing hard now, she’s never felt like this before.  He grabs the little pink bow that ties them together and pulls on it with his teeth, letting them come undone.   He then slowly pulls them down with his muzzle as she lets out another sigh.  She wants it more than she’s ever wanted it before.

Scott slowly brings his mouth to the lips of her pussy, and presses on them with the tip of his muzzle.  She’s just waiting for it to happen and can’t bear it, the suspense is almost enough to kill her, and finally a wave of pleasure washes over her as his tongue parts her lips, entering her moist warm folds.  She’s moaning with excitement uncontrollably now, and begins massaging her own breasts with the pads of her paws.  Scott is now vigorously penetrating her with his tongue, exposing her clitoris.  He begins sucking on its tip while still slipping his tongue between her sweet warm lips.  Her legs are now wrapped around his head as her moans get louder and louder.  Scott can feel her juices slowly starting to drip into his mouth.  Sarah stops massaging her breasts, and is now grabbing Scott’s ears.  She lets out a howl as her juices coat his tongue with their bitter but sweet taste.

She’s still breathing heavily, but slowing down now.  In all the excitement they’ve somehow ended up on the floor.  Scott wipes his mouth and lies down next to her as she curls up next to him, hugging his side and curling her tail around his.

            “So how was it Sarah?”

“I’m walking on sunshine” She said with a smile.  “However, I think it’s your turn.”  The smile turned into a full fledged grin.

“Take 2, Mr. Spielberg.” He said returning the grin.

The End.
