Chapter 1
The Accident
It was a monstrously loud night on a small airship as lightning crashed and struck the peaks of mountains in the background. A kitsune boy of burnt sienna fur with brown highlights on his hands, ears and tail tips sat staring into the distance. He wore a purple shirt with no sleeves and a white under shirt with sleeves under. Purple fingerless gloves and a pair of black knee high boot and a hair clip shaped like a star he never removed. And sheathed he had 2 steel bladed double edged swords strapped to his back. Suddenly the ship began to shake violently. The boy almost falls over, but catches himself just in time. A little girls voice came from behind him "Lani, what the heck was that?!" she exclaimed running up next to him. Turning around he saw a little girl with silver hair, peach skin and cat ears dressed in a black shirt with a grey star in the center and a black short skirt with laces at the bottom. "Faith go back into the cabin it might be dangerous!" Lani exclaimed. All of the sudden up from the ground rose a monumental creature.
It was shaped like a giant mole with beety little black eyes and huge teeth. They noticed that purple lights began to appear near the creature's mouth. "Get away from it!" exclaimed lani. But it was too little to late as a blinding blast of purple light engulfed them and all went black.

Sky blue rays of sunlight shone threw the window of orchis room just as he arose from sleep. Sitting up and yawning he peered out of the window "god it never stops snowing" he said to himself. As he got up and got dressed he heard a very loud boom in the distance. "That came from torsa..." he said to himself. Grabbing his clothes, various stuffed animals and two yoyos from his closet he quickly got dressed and exited his house heading for crystallies forest.

The icy forest was dark, despite it being daylight the canopy of the trees blocked out any sunlight that dared to enter. Snow covered the leaves of every tree and icicles crew on the very ends of stems. Though cold orchi still found time to stop and admire the crystal flowers that grew within the forest. As he neared the exit he noticed several people dressed in bright silver armor running the opposite way of him. Assuming they were probably just the daily monster patrol he continued to torsa.

When Lani woke up he looked around and noticed he was no longer on the air ship he was laying in a bed someone that bed as he sat up he noticed faith was asleep on another bed next to his. "what happened?" he asked himself out loud. "Good question." Said an old gruff voice from behind him. When Lani turned to look he saw an old man of pale white skin dressed in a red robe carrying a wooden cane standing at the door of the room. "Do you remember anything child?" asked the old man. "No" said Lani "were are we?" He asked the old man. "You are in torsa. A small town to the east of crystallies forest." Explained the old man. "Torsa? Crystallies? I've never heard of there..." Lani thought out loud. "Were a small continent I'm not surprised you haven't" explained the old man. "Is my sister ok?" asked Lani. "the girl? Yes she's fine her body is smaller than yours so she absorbed more of the impact however she will wake soon." Said the old man. All of the sudden a terrible roar came from outside. "what on earth was that?!" exclaimed the old man

A swift gust of wind whooshed over orchis head nearly knocking him forward. A huge slam shook the ground as orchi composed himself he looked up to see a giant sky blue dragon nested in front of him. Orchi stared at it for a second then whipped out his pair of yoyos "well if that's how you wanna play." He said with a grin. And as he jumped for the dragon great eagle wings sprouted from the stuffed toy on his back.

"Can you watch my sister for me?" Lani asked the man. "Yes child she'll be quite safe now go ahead and investigate" replied the old man. As Lani exited the building he saw a boy who seamed to be carrying a lot of stuffed animals with blue hair and wings coming from the back of him flying around fighting a huge sky blue dragon with what looked like yoyos. "Hey Lani!!" yelled hoping to distract it the boy looked down "look out!!" yelled the boy. As Lani turned back toward the dragon he saw that sky blue fire began building in the creatures jaws. Just as the flames began to fire Lani gathered his concentration and leaped into the air rotating his two tails suspending him in the air. Then he drew his two blades

The dragon shot blast after blast of the hot blue flame some how they kept nimbly dodging the blast but they knew they couldn't run forever. Suddenly Lani noticed something obvious about the dragon that he failed to notice before. Upon scanning for a weak point he noticed that the dragons head lifted up and faltered after every blast of flames. The next time it lifted its head that would be his chance to strike. Signaling to the boy to distract it he slowly moved in clucking the dragon on the head with his yoyos the boy got the dragons attention as it blasted a sky blue blast of flames at the blue haired boy Lani took advantage of the situation rushing right under the dragon he trusted both blades deep into the dragons belly then swiftly withdrew it again. The beast let out a thunderous roar then with earth shaking strength fell to hit the ground and sank into the depths of the earth. Sighing Lani fell onto his butt, the boy landed on his belly "that was pretty tough" said the blue haired boy. "You handled yourself quite well" said Lani all of the sudden a strange noise began to raise out of no were then they realized what it was. It was applaud they looked up and a great number of people had gathered around them and started clapping.

Back at the inn the boy introduced himself as orchi and the old man finally introduced himself as Alfred. "That was a spectacular show! I don't know if you realized it but half the town was watching you." Exclaimed the Alfred. "Thanks but without orchis help I probably couldn't have done It" Lani admitted. Orchi smiled and laughed embarrassed "nah" he said "is my sister awake yet?" asked Lani. "The little one. No she's-"started the old man then out of no were a mans voice yelled "its back!!" Lani and orchi hurried outside. When they reached the door they saw the same dragon. However it seemed much more humble. First it looked around in what looked like a curious fashion then it spotted Lani and orchi and looked at them. They almost jumped out of there skin then a gentle voice rose from no were "are you the ones who freed me from that dreaded curse?" said the voice. Lani and orchi confused looked at each other then they realized it was the dragon. "Uh... I think so..." answered Lani. "Thank you. I didn't know if id ever be freed. I was put under a spell by a band of humans wearing silver armor" explained the dragon. "Silver armor!?" exclaimed orchi "I saw a couple of people like that heading toward saria my home town!" "Huh" Lani turned and looked at orchi. "They must be looking for cascade" said the dragon "you must hurry if you wish to save your home from what I observed those guys are bad news." "Hold on!" exclaimed Lani "ill go with you I can't just let you try to take them on your own." "Thanks" said orchi. "Be careful you two." Said the dragon. "right" said them both. "First though I have to ask Alfred if he'll watch my sister while I'm gone."
