Apocalypse

The stars are fading out, they are dying
Skies once so bright, now black as night
Wind so stormy with grey clouds crying
Raindrops so close preventing any sight

Billions of years she gave birth to life
All those years she was our mother
The silver shining full moon's wife
But she is mortal, she dies like others

Quietly all plants and trees are whitering
Animals and Birds are asleep evermore
Calm rivers and clear streams are drying
Sound once so loud to be heard nevermore

After all those ages she is getting tired
One last time she is approaching the sun
The beautiful star that she had admired
It was her last whish, needed to be done

"Come close oh you my beauty"
"You have done your duty"
"Rest in my arms"
"I'll keep you warm"

So spoke the sun to the earth
never again her voice was heard
