Dear Brother,

 It has been so long since I've last seen you. I've decided to write you letters since I don't know when, or if, I shall return to you. If nothing else, you will have these letters to remember me by. And I know how much you enjoy my adventures.

If you're wondering of my progress, I've made it through the Cross Ridge Mountains. The centaurs provided me with more than a challenge. They had surrounded me just as I had climbed down one of the cliffs. I was sure that was the end of my adventures. However, I managed to dodge nearly every shot and pounced upon them, rending the flesh from their bones. One of the devils managed to pierce my ear with an arrow before I took him down. Straight through. I made a charm out of his collar bone and hung it there. It looks rather dashing, if I do say so myself. Another shot pierced my thigh, and I have no amusing piercings their. I managed to finish off that one and crawled up the side of a cliff. The blood trailed down...
