Chapter II: A Crazy Teacher for a Crazy Class
When he reached his English class, all the students were waiting outside. Eternity sighed and his tail flicked in frustration. Mrs.Gerald, the only teacher that Eternity liked, but she was quite the nut. This was the second time this year where she locked everyone out of the class because she was busy writing all over the white board. Her episodes were usually caused by the student who wanted to not have class and didn't care. He knew just who set her off. He walked up behind Marvin Lettenburg, the only kid who thought he was better than anyone, and everyone else. He usually had his little gang that kept him out of trouble and took the fall for anything he did that would get him in trouble. His gang consisted of him, a warthog named Angus, and a gator named Sly. They usually ran the school, but not really. They kept thinking that they were "all that" and they were usually total dicks to everyone, even the teachers. Even, poor Mrs.Gerald.
"Dude, what the hell did you do this time?" Eternity asked. Marvin didn't even look away from his peers, the little fucker wouldn't even look Eternity in the eye. He was being an ignorant fuck, as usual but, Eternity was not in the mood this morning. In fact he was pissed off. He grabbed Marvin's shoulder, which got the attention of his peers and plenty of glares and stares. The crowd watched, just bi-standers, Eternity had been a bi-stander everyone had at one point Rivermore High. He felt the electricity in the air as Marvin turned around to look at him with his beady sheep eyes. He looked down at Eternity's hand on his shoulder, then up at Eternity with an almost disgusted look on his face that would make even the most peaceful furs want to beat his face in with a lead pipe.
"Let go of me, I didn't do anything wrong." His voice was small but cocky and that just made Eternity a little more pissed off, but he showed no emotions besides a stare.
"Did I say you did anything wrong?"
"No, I don't believe you did so I'd really enjoy it if you let go of me." Marvin said with a hateful tone in his voice.
"I will. Once you tell me what you did." Eternity said calmly.
"I didn't do anything! She is just a crazy psycho!" Marvin yelled at Eternity, then pushed Eternity's hand of his shoulder. Eternity watched him stalk off as the door opened and Mrs.Gerald walked out.
"Class is in session. Let's go. Stop standing around out here wasting time." She walked back into the room and the rest of the class followed. Eternity kept watching Marvin until Mrs.Gerald pushed him inside the class room. "Hurry up now, we have so little time these days." She muttered to herself as Eternity took his seat in the back. It was just plain easier sitting in the back, it was quieter but, he could hear as if he were right in front of her having a private lesson. Of course that wasn't the case and he constantly found himself looking over four other heads just to see what she wrote on the board. He forgot his contact, it would be impossible to see what she wrote on the board until he walked right up there after class and wrote it down before the other class walked in. That would leave him, about five minutes to write down an hour and a half or class work.
He sighed and listened, closing his eyes again. If anyone bothered to look at him they'd think he was sleeping and they'd tell on him, luckily no one ever looks behind them and if they did they wouldn't look at him. He usually kept to himself anyway, he only had Trey for a friend, and that was only because the wolf insisted on being a friend until Eternity finally gave in. Eternity was glad he did give in because Trey proved to be a really good friend, after the obsession and constant flirting. He was still a good guy, and Eternity wondered how anyone could not like Trey, other than the fact he was gay. But, almost no one knew that except Eternity and Derek. As Eternity sat there, lost in his own thought he didn't notice what the teacher was doing. Introducing a new student. Eternity picked his head up and listened to the last bit of what the teacher was saying.
"So, is there anything you want to tell us about yourself?" Mrs.Gerald asked loudly so the whole class could hear. Eternity couldn't even hear the student, he or she must of been extremely shy.
"Well take your seat...we have an open one...right...there! Next to Eternity." Mrs.Gerald said, and everyone turned to look at him. Some of the boys were grinning, the girls looked very jealous and Eternity didn't know why, although he couldn't even see who this fur was until he or she sat right next to him. He prayed silently that it wouldn't be some weird loud fur, or just someone you know your not going to like. He watched the fur take the seat next to him, but he didn't want to look over because other furs were still watching them.
"Class! We've all had our fun now lets get back to business!" Mrs.Gerald spoke with authority in her voice, she meant business. She was usually laid back, but nervous all at once so the sudden change in her voice was quite a shock and some furs jumped in their seats slightly. When everyone looked back to the board Eternity looked at the new fur. He was a husky, with black hair, with ice blue streaks in the emo fashion with one eye covered from the hair. His fur was white, with some black dots down the back, like a cheetah. His eyes, or eye, from what Eternity could see were also ice blue and very pretty. Eternity felt himself staring at the new husky with slight awe. He looked away and stared at his desk, he was breathing slightly faster then normal and he didn't understand it. He took another quick glance and noticed something more interesting than his looks. He was embarrassed. But, then again who wouldn't be it was a new school, new furs, he is basically obligated to be scared. He didn't look scared though just embarrassed, he must've seen Eternity looking at him and now it was his turn to look embarrassed knowing he was caught.
"I-I'm Kale. Y-You are?" the husky said with a shaky voice from what seemed to me total embarrassment.
"Eternity."
"What?"
"That's my name, Eternity."
"Oh." Kale said, he looked back and was twiddling his thumbs. Eternity had to admit that the husky was quite cute and he felt blood rush to his face in embarrassment for thinking those thoughts, besides Kale looked straight, so it was pointless to pine over him. This was going to be a long class.
