Eternity had been lost in his own thought again. He had made a choice. Even if Kale wasn't gay he'd at least try to lure the cute husky in. The bell rang and everyone got up, Eternity motioned Kale to follow him and they walked out the door and into the busy hallway. Eternity could feel Kale behind him, right behind him. He walked to his locker and started with the combination while Kale stood beside him, taking in all the sights and the other furs that walked to and from other classes.
"Where do we go now?" Kale whispered quietly to Eternity. Eternity didn't answer he just opened his locker and started looking through it. Eternity felt more furs close, staring at Kale. He turned to see two furs making a beeline towards Kale. Not just any two furs, but the twins. The leopard twins, Ashley and Kate. The two biggest bitches in the whole school. As Trey would've put it "heart breakers and stupid sleezy sluts". Trey was never one for judging people but the leopard twins have a track record. They'd gone out with almost every decent guy in the school, including Eternity, and even Trey, who only did it on a dare mind you. So there they were surrounding Kale, his back was towards the locker with Eternity to his right, Kate to his left and Ashley right in from of him. His face turned red again and he didn't say anything. Ashley was about to speak but Eternity stepped in front of her.
"I suggest you stay away from him. Or maybe news will reach to Toby that you've been cheating on him with three other furs." Eternity said with stone cold voice.
"I don't believe I was going to talk to you. Freak. Now move before I get someone to move you for me." Ashley looked him right in the eye. Eternity laughed and Kale looked around nervously at the crowd that was starting to form.
"Go ahead and get someone to try and move me, you'll still won't get to my friend here." Eternity said with a lot of command in his voice. Toby, the massive bear line-backer was already on the scene.
"Listen buddy," Toby said in his unusually deep voice. "If Ashley wants to talk to omeone she gets her way okay?" Eternity laughed again, even Toby didn't realize why Ashley wanted to talk to Kale.
"Let's get out of here. People are staring." Kale whispered. Eternity nodded and backed up then turned around and started to walk away before feeling a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't you turn your back on me freak!" Toby yelled, trying to scare Eternity into submission. It wasn't going to work. Eternity turned slowly, took one step forward getting really close to Toby, right up in his face. So close he could feel his breath, Eternity felt his blood pumping in rage.
"No," Eternity said with a voice that could cut stone and made Toby take a small step back. "I am so sick and tired of what Ashley wants, or what Kate wants. Let me let you in on a little secret Toby..." Grabbing him by the collar of the shirt, pulling him close enough to whisper into his ear.
"Do you know why Ashley hasn't been able to talk or hang out with you after school?" Toby shook his head no. "Because she is to busy fucking every other guy on the football team. She is cheating on you. Has been for a while now. She is trying to do it now by talking to my friend. Can't you see that?" Toby showed a look of surprise and then he was listening intently, trying to process all the information that was being revealed to him. He again shook his head no.
"Well she is. What are you doing to do about it?" Eternity hissed loud enough for everyone to hear him. Ashley was in a frenzy she was screaming at him.
"Don't listen to him! Don't listen to him! He is just a freak! I'd never cheat on you!" Ashley seemed to be having an emotional melt down, maybe she was scared, but she was finally caught in her own web of lies. Eternity let go of Toby's collar and took a few steps back then turned around and walked to lunch. He could hear Ashley and Toby yelling at each other and he smiled. Kale walked closer to Eternity as the other furs stared for a few minuted before they rounded the corner our of view of other furs.
"You didn't have to do that, I could of handled it." Kale said quietly. Eternity grinned. "Why did you help me anyway?" Eternity again, only grinned, but spoke this time.
"Well your my friend. I don't sell out my friends to bitches like Ashley and Kate. You need to learn a few things before school, we'll talk about it during lunch.
