Sorry it has been so long, but this one was a bear. I took an occasional stab at a Part 3 over the past two years, producing three different beginnings, none of which were satisfactory. Eventually i saw that while each alone was inadequate, I could take all three together as a sequence of scenes and make a much more promising beginning. That left me a fourth section to write from scratch in order to include a scene I knew that I wanted Part 3 to cover. Finally, I looked at what I had as a whole and found a way to tie it all together in a satisfying conclusion.

Those who have asked for the return of the massage bot will find it here. Fans of Doctor Courangara eagerly awaiting him having his way with our naughty young hero will have to wait, although the doctor does get significant screen time. I promise that he'll have his turn with Hali in time, and from what I already know of their yet-to-be-written encounter, I think it will have been worth waiting for.

I am working right now on both a prologue to cover the essential plot points of "A Treasure Freely Given" but revised to accurately reflect the deviations from this in my sequels, and also on Part 4 which is coming slowly because I don't want to push Hali so far that I run out of future developments.
