Day one:

Dear Diary,

First day of reform school. Yippee. I know I’ve just met you, and that this is my first entry, but it’s not like you will send me letters about complaining too much. Oh well. It’s a good thing this is my senior year.

I’m Lauren Ashford, a Bluetick hound. To the dismay of many, my bust is far larger than most other girls, even some of the teachers. It’s not because I’m fat or anything-quite the opposite, actually. Because I’m a hound, my ears are floppy and are covered by my black hair, which naturally has stripes of a dark blue. My muzzle, paws, and feet are a tannish colored fur. The rest of my body is covered in peppered white/gray/black/dark blue.

Despite my upbringing, school, and appearance, I’m not 100% female. I am a hermaphrodite, ...

Very well done. Some small grammatical errors, but the story flowed very smoothly and kept a consistent pace. The ratio of description to progression was dead on.
8/10 and looking forward to the next one.
