The Lucky Kat



Lucky was his name, and Lucky was he.

The meerkat never knew how exactly it happened, what could have caused it, but damn it. He was the luckiest kat alive.

Lucky Leonard Lincoln was born in Las Vegas. He looked no different from any other meerkat. Soft brown eyes like caramel, a full head of dark brown hair, two brown rings around his eyes that made him look like some emo guy. He wasn't very big, 5'6 at least with a medium build. No one would think anything of the fellow. Then one night, everything would change.

Lucky remembered; he remembered his prom night with his girlfriend, Tisha. She was a meerkat as well. They didn't really know each other that well, they just happened to be the only two kats in the school so they thought, what the hell? Neither of them had dates, so they hooked up purely out of necessity. On prom night, they danced, they laughed, they had the best night any hot-blooded teenager on the verge of graduating could hope for.
