Laqueta (the quiet one) 

I come from a small deeply traditional and near militant religeous place where a girl is expected to be prim and proper, get married, have kids, speak when spoken too and be content with her lot in life no matter how abusive it may be. Needless to say I never fit in well for I was none of those things, specially not content, at least not enough to satisfy my father, the head of our large extended family.  I was able to escape with the help of a woman I met by chance at the bookstore. She spirited me far away helped me get set up and settled in to make my way in a new life that I can direct, make my own choices and do as I please. I thought I was this big bad rebellious type. I was so wrong, while I was compared to the women where I come from..  since I have been out on my own I have learned that I do not like being the one in charge, I am a people pleaser, I am concidered quiet and a bit shy, more submissive then not. However, I am a very curious person and I watch everything I can. I am learning to be more bold but its hard when I do not know anyone in this new place and have no guidance.

 I love gadgets and computers my curiosity drives me to tinker I am forever taking things apart and putting them back together usually fix them lots of the time I can make them better.  I seem to have a natural talent with mechanical things and computers. It got me in trouble all the time by the Elders back home. It was not considered a females place.
