Long story made short Snaedis (soul/succubus) in habits the body of Shaden (Wolf girl) they conflict on who is the main identity (though Snaedis usually wins) Shaden (once known as willow) was a teenage girl in a village where women were sacrificed to a "demon" (who turned out to be a werewolf) once every hundred years to keep peace and prosparity in the village. Shaden was bitten and made the Wolve's bride, when an enemy Wolf came near he attacked Shaden injuring her to the brink of death, Snaedis being a wondering demon needed a body and told Shaden that if she agreed to share the body she would heal her wounds.
