Marcus Townsend

Born and raised in the midwest, Marcus Townsend had the ideal life.  Blessed with a loving mother, father, and baby sister, it seemed that the youngster's very existance was sculpted from the perfect dream.  Yet on one, fateful evening, that dream was ruthlessly shattered and transformed into a living nightmare, as a vampire stalked, tortured, and murdered his beloved family.  At the tender age of 13, the boy (gripped and frozen with fear) could only watch while in hiding as the blood-sucker fed upon his family one by one, before dispatching them in a merciless fashion.  Guilt-ridden due to his own cowardice, the orphaned boy dedicated his life from that moment on to rid the world of vampires.

Five years after that fateful evening, the boy had grown into quite the imposing young man.  Devoting every moment of his life to honing his body into a deadly weapon, he relentlessly trained and studied the art of hunting.  Fueled by an unquenchable lust for vengeance, Marcus spent every waking hour stalking and exterminating nosferatu.   What the youngster lacked in experience when it came to hunting, he more than made up for it with ambition, athletic ability, and raw power.  However, he is still quite new to the game, and would benefit greatly if an experienced hunter took him under his/her wing.

Ironically, young Marcus has recently befriended to a vampiric feline named Lorelei.  Of course, she is one of the few nosferatu that only feeds from the willing...nor does she kill those which she feeds from.

The boy views vampires as nothing more than objects, or at best, vermin.

Marcus looks like a well-sculpted athlete, to say the least.  Due to countless hours of training, he's maximized his body's potential to inflict on damage on any vampire he stalks or crosses paths with.

Despite his intimidating build, the young human is surprisingly softspoken and passive (unless provoked of course).

Having become a drifter, the young man has no family or friends to speak of.  With his sole purpose in life revolving around vampire-hunting, the boy is quite innocent and naive when it comes to dating and relationships.

Believe it or not, he's developed a recent friendship with a vampiric feline.  Her name is Lorelei Anna, and meeting her has forced him to question his quest to rid the world of all vampires.
