Espeon started life as a simple nonanthropomorphic Eevee. His first trainer was incredibly kind and loving. The trainer's caring and kindness resulted in the Eevee's evolution into Espeon. However, the trainer lost a battle, the outcome of which was him being forced to surrender one Pokemon of his oppenent's choice. The opponent chose Espeon. Devastated, the Espeon fell into a period of deep depression, refusing to battle or even obey his new trainer. The new trainer eventually gave up on Espeon, abandoning it in the city where he lived. The Espeon spent months searching for his frst trainer, the one with the kindness and caring that caused his evolution. He was unsucessful, and ended up being captured by a man who wanted him for his uniqueness, rather than for companionship. Here began the most trying period of the Espeon's life. His new master, as the man called himself, was cruel and abusive, often beating the Espeon simply because he was bored. Espeon was able to flee to a nearby park, where he slowly began to starve, unable to find food. He was searching one day when he was approached by a young wolf who offered him food. The wolf then comforted him, and, thinking he was doing the Espeon a favor, used the information on the Pokemon's collar to call the Espeon's master. When his master arrived, he immediately leashed him, and verbally abused him. The wolf, whose name was Zakkie, tried to defend Espeon, but was punched. This angered the Espeon, to the point where it somehow gained the ability to speak telepathically. It ordered the human to stop, then knocked him unconscious with its telekinetic abilities. Zakkie took him to the Backstreet for safety, where he met Bayshore the otter. They both comforted him, triggering an amazing evolution: The Espeon evolved into an anthropomorphic version of itself. Still able to use his telepathic abilities, he can also now talk. *Update* With the help of Reiko, he has named himself Colin.

He is not sure, still being new to the world in the anthro sense.

He is quiet, though not necessarily timid. He will speak when spoken to, but is unlikely to strike up a conversation on his own.
