Castor

Castor was born into nobility and the path of knighthood.   Having an affinity for archery, he also enjoyed studying.  In his quiet sessions he found he also had talent for a branch of the arcaic arts, dream impelment. 

 His course was altered slightly as more focus was put on this skill, Castor becoming a court magician and one of several serving in his King's army.  By his late teens he was working closely with his Majesty and a member of his court and the Council of Mages, somewhat by default because of his status as one.  The king has bedded Castor several times, telling him it was to help him produce those kinds of dreams in others, at first anyway.  To quote him: "Pleasure can just as good as and better than torture."

Castor is something of a big deal in his court, but he remains humble and his age is obvious at points - he attempts to make sure these times are never in court.  Castor is 18 years old.  In his somewhat precarious standing in court, he has learned to be calm, quiet, and patient when it's called for.  

He is very loyal and will fight for his country and his ideals.  He has been taught many colorful interrigation techniques using his magic and has room for hate in his heart.  

Normally he wears a midnight blue cotehardie with silver stitching throughout it, black trousers and black boots with silver threads embossed on the waist and cuffs of the trousers and boots, the colors standard for those skilled in dream impelment and the clothing standard for the court mages, and breeches and an undertunic.   On his left shoulder he has a turquoise circle with five lines through it in the fashion of a star, applied in heavy ink by the King himself to high ranking military officers.

Aside from his somewhat complex relationship with his King, he has good allies and friends with a couple of other mages and is friendly with most of the other knights and guards.
