     Calabash was born in ancient Egypt.  He was chosen as a fingerling by the wizard, Nephren Ka, to be his familiar.  Over the course of his life with Nephren Ka, Calabash absorbed and channeled so much magical energy that he anthropomorphized and gained near immortality.  After Ka's death Calabash wandered the world learning all that he could.  Today Calabash rus NKC Enterprises a multinational, non-for-profit organization trying to make a difference in the world.

     Calabash is very much old Egypt nobility as such his tastes run toward combatitive entertainment and beautiful women.  His current triggers are fast cars and good food.  He is especially responsive to cat women as his Egyptian background reveres them as near divine.
