Inasha Nalen

Inasha was raised in Karvan, the warrior nation of Jurayn. As an infant, she was found on the steps of a noble family, bound with ribbon. No note was present, but printed on the ribbon were the Eastern Nokanu characters for, "ina," and "sha," literally translated as, "dual birth." The nature of the infant's sexual organs revealed the reason for this. The Nokanu had many superstitions regarding birth defects, most of them stating that such children were a curse. The Nalen family took Inasha in and accepted her, believing that she (prominent female features appeared at the proper time later in life) was left to them by Nokanu parents wishing an accepting home for their child. Inasha's life was uneventful and relatively normal until she turned sixteen. A retired hero soldier by the name of Castor recruited Inasha into his private band of mercinaries, Valah Gon, after Inasha showed promise in the Gauntlet, a Karvan rite of passage. Using his influence and a little wealth, he waived the five years of mandatory civil service that every Karvani serves and began her training. Within a few years, Inasha was one of the top-earning warriors in the Valah Gon and had earned the respect of her comrades and her leader. It was then that she decided to take her leave of the organization and walk the path of the independent assassin. She continues this today, taking contracts where she can find them and taking special contracts from Castor himself. While the rest of the Valah Gon resent her for leaving, her former leader seems to have taken to her.

Inasha likes hard liquor and good company. She loves to kick back in a pub sharing stories and joking. Reading is how she spends her evenings on the road or at home.
