He's a lanky, 5' 10" senior in high school in a small town, the only gay male in that town, wears rectangular glasses that usually sit on the end of his nose, semi-depressed but cheers up easily, has a 3' long tail, he works at a McDonalds to earn some money part-time.  He also has a tweak in his DNA, causing him to turn into a her with a splash of cold water, making her a 5' 6" otter girl, still lanky, but very curvy.

 Very often, though, he is either forgetful, to the point of repeating things twice, easily distracted, and an active listener...when he wants to be.
