Immortals are not naturaly of this world they come from somewere els. they cannot die unles thier head is taken from thier  by another immortal. they all stay the same age in which they "die" the first time in. they each have certian abilities that are unique to them, When one dies by the blade of another all thier power and knowledge is transfered to them. They are being drawn to one another by the Quickening that is in thier blood. Not all are evil not all are good. They fight for power and the ultimate prize.
