[Y] About
Gus is a professional gopher, he to find things that people want found, things they've lost, things that are hidden, and sometimes, things that are jealously guarded. He doesn't advertise his services, but rather, after a bit of research, he discreetly approaches potential clients, usually wealthy collectors of obscure relics, and makes a proposal to find something rare to add to their collection, for a rather hefty sum. He has, of course, already found this first artifact, and produces it immediately upon confirmation of payment, leaving them with a number at which he may be contacted, no more than three times in a single year. At this point, he has a fairly sizable pool of clients, who usually keep him quite busy. He never takes a job before conducting a bit of research, for which he maintains quiet contact with Theressa Euler. His only failure to date has been in the retrieval of an ancient clay tablet from the forgotten ruins of an ancient city. An old curse, the magic still potent, destroyed the object, and seriously injured his left arm. His fur still doesn't grow entirely right from his elbow to his paw, though he's regained full use of the arm. Gus has somewhat mercenary ethics, able to justify nearly any behavior so long as he benefits. He's delightfully companionable, and a good storyteller, but harbors very little true empathy.
