he was saved by a friend who ended up being kidnapped by black mesa and being dragged into a Black Mesa underground complex, he broke into the factory to save his friend. Then with only his bare paws he took down several armed gaurds on sheer determination to save his friend and stole an experimental gun from a lab. after getting a crew of furs for his second trip in they ,in all our zeal, ended up setting the facility to self destruct with his freind still in it and he was going to spend every last second looking for him. Joseph almost died if not for his whole team dragging him forcefully from the building, and the place blew up.

Joseph sat down and cried with guilt and despair but after the dust had settled he went back in was discovered by a "clean up" and "rescue" crew for black Mesa that was trying to salvage anything they could from the facility as well as kill any possible survivors.  However joseph managed to "clean them up" with the new gun. So after his crew, which had been Aperture employes all along, abandoned him he managed to reach the bottom of the complex and made it down to the boss's safe room which had survived the blast. Inside this huge bunker where thousands of survivors who filled him in. A white husky had been brought in and experimented on and ended up more powerful than Back mesa had wanted. then when the facility set to self destruct the boss had attempted to shut every one else out but the husky took him out and managed to get everyone into the huge bunker just before the explosion. The this hero went out to look through the wreckage and never came back. joseph ran out of the bunker closer than ever and went crashing through the floor and cut by a piece of bloody metal. he passed out. when he re awoke he found himself in a small cavern laying next to his friend whose paw was stuck on the piece of metal and leg was trapped under an I beam. having now been infected with the chemical that gave his friend the super strength he lifted the I beam and the two were reunited at long last. all of the affection and caring of these two long lost friends came pouring out at once in a passionate kiss and that is where this story ends ;3.
