-Johan enjoys music (Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, Megadeth, and Anthrax are his favorites as of late), cooking, writing, reading, shooting, fishing, drawing, anything to do with WWII, and he loves his mate and daughter with such zeal that he has killed for them in the past.
-To bolster his passion for the loud and the fast, he recently took to playing a big, sexy seven-string guitar.
-Gordon Ramsay asks Johan for advice on his dishes, to which Johan screams and yells at Gordon for being an incompetent chef. That last part was mere sarcasm, and should not be taken literally. Johan is an accomplished cook, but will not say that he is any good because such a thing is subjective.
-Johan mostly writes for a fictitious magazine (in the story-line) called Sniper. Most of his articles focus on how to squeeze as much accuracy out of a rifle as one can hope to do. He also wrote many neutral articles on the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge replacing the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge from service. He prefers the 7.62 over the 5.56, but doesn't mind the change over because of his MOS.
-For the most part, Johan likes old spy novels and mysteries when he reads, but he isn't a stranger to the occasional documentation of a subject he finds interesting. Food, for example.
-Shooting sort of goes with being a sniper, but Johan tends to do more of it than most other guys in the 425th.
-Fishing isn't a common practice for him, but he definitely isn't into trout, or anything under thirty-inches for that matter.
-When it comes to drawing, Johan takes a decidedly more manga-esque approach to people, and a more lifelike approach to animals and landscapes. Maybe it's the sniper part that influences the latter.
-As for WWII, anything and everything is up for grabs as far as he's concerned. This is a direct contrast to most Europeans I myself know; they tend to be more interested in WWI, whereas Americans (like me) tend to focus on WWII.
He hates:
Assholes.Wife Beaters.Drunks.Gays (just the annoying Richard Simmons type; he has some quasi-friends who are gay).Punks.Shitheads (you all know at least one).Rap/Hip-hop.People who think that war is a game (I'm talking to the overly serious Call of Duty fans with this one).Johan is a big, quiet, smart guy with a niche for shooting and lovin' wrapped into a XXL shell of pure truth and justice. Insofar he is a Brigadier General in the German Bundeswher (in my story, "The Snipers", you get to know him when he's only a first Luftennant), and he has no intention of sitting behind a big desk for the rest of his career.
Being a little paranoid, and being the type of guy Johan is, he tends to keep a blade, handgun, or a heavy field-gun close by at all times.
-His weapon for formal occasions (like fancy dinners) is a Glock 36 (.45 ACP) slim-frame, it fits neatly under a Tux.
-Dressed casually he prefers a Taurus 738 TCP (.380 ACP) slim-frame, fits similarly under clothing. It isn't exactly a hard hitting weapon, but he doesn't intend on killing anyone who pulls a gun on him; he doesn't take the law into his own hands... much.
-His standard service sidearm tends to be a HK USP .45. This weapon is slightly modified for his larger hand size and comes with a fourteen round magazine as a result of the added length of the grip.
-On the likely chance that he does have to take the law into his own hands (legally through the police or illegally through his own resources), he tends to carry an arsenal of mostly handguns. These are a pair of FN Five-sevens (5.7x28mmFN), a pair of Glock 21s (.45 ACP), a pair of Glock 30s (.45 ACP), a pair of SIG-Sauer P220s (.45 ACP), and his trusty HK G3 battle rifle (7.62x51mm NATO). That's eight handguns, six of them chambered for the same round, and a rifle. Paranoid? Nope... just enthusiastic about having a bigger stick than the other guy.
-Though known better as the best sniper in Europe and Russia, he is also known for his remarkable level of intelligence and ability to learn at an accelerated rate.
Johan's family includes:
His mate, Foxee. His daughter, Kani. His mother, Rosie.Johan's friends include:
SINC Leona F. Hughes. Current commanding officer, mentor, and snuggle buddy. She isn't known for her lovin's as much as the fact that she can unlease nuclear holocaust from the collective European armys.Brigdier-General: Dominique Khole Fieseler. A long-time friend and associate from Johan's high-school days, also his adopted sister.Colonol: Manfred J. Rickenbacker. Befriended Johan at age twenty, has been a trusted advisor and CQB specialist ever since.Luftennant-Colonol: Seamus Rickenbacker. Manfred's brother, saved Kani from burning vehicle after it was hit by an RPG round.Major: Victor T. Suporyev. Russian, former Spetsnaz GRU, very talented with a knife.Captain: Markus K. Miller. Former commanding officer in 425th, deceased (2007).Staff Sergeant: Myla T. Schneider. Johan's little helper, special forces, saved his life on several occasions.Johan's enemies include:
General: Mark Lantirin. This man has tried to undermine everything that Johan has fought for, especially now that he is outranked by his former number two. Though not really a Bundeswher general, Lantirin has about the same influence as an agent for the BfV.
