History:  Amanda was born to a normal family and has a pretty normal life, until young love found her and a male Lucario, named Jake, attracted to each other.  She was 14 and he was 16 when they first met.  It was love at first sight.  They dated, kissed, cuddled, and did just about everything together…until Jake decided to go into the Pokémon/Human military at 18 years of age.  Amanda was at first devastated because she could not go but Jake promised her he would write her every day.  Amanda was not unhappy with this, but it would still mean she could not see her lover.  He did write…for about a month and a half, then they stopped coming.  They didn’t come slowly, they just stopped, and Jake never wrote about any kind of danger.  Amanda HAD to see why he was not writing but she lived in Sinnoh and he was all the way in Unova.  So she came up with a plan.  She snuck onto the S.S. Anne world line cruise ship when it docked in the region and stowed away in it for 3 weeks while it sailed to Unova.  However only the first small island of Unova was citizen safe and the cruise liner stayed at least a mile offshore.  Amanda was DESPERATE to see Jake so she immediately jumped ship and swam the mile to Unova. She swam over to somewhere where no one would see her get onshore and then headed down a detour to Black Thorn City where Jake said he had been writing her.  When she arrived it was a Red Zone battle.  Gunfire, mortars, trenches, fire, and razor wire with dirt flying everywhere as far as she could see.  Scared but determined to see Jake, she pushed through the battle, going through out of the way paths so no one would notice her.  After about 3 full minutes of crawling through bushes, dirt, sand, and tall grass, she spotted Jake firing Aura Balls at enemies.  She screamed for him when they were all defeated and his reaction was instant…and not pretty.  He swore and screamed at her above the deafening sound of heavy combat and she could not believe what she was hearing.  This wasn’t Jake.  This was not the happy, nice Lucario she fell in love with.  She was about to apologize for showing up during a battle when a mortar hit nearby and sent them flying.  Jake landed in some bushes.  Amanda, unfortunately, was heading towards a cliff.  But in a stroke of luck she managed to grab the ledge with her ears.  But the luck was short lasting as she was weak from the hit and she could not hold on for long.  Jake had gotten up and ran over to her, but he didn’t help her as he got over her.  In fact, as she pleaded and begged for his help, he just stood there, emotionless.  He watched as she slipped and fell far into the sea below. She had been rendered weak from the hit and the impact of hitting the ocean from 40 ft. up and she couldn’t swim.  Luck had returned however and her fur made her float on top of the salty water.  She floated back to the main, safe island and washed ashore. She tried to get up but couldn’t move.  Both her legs were broken and bone was sticking out of her right arm, her dominant one.  She cried and screamed for help but no Pokémon were near.  She was done for when a trainer came down the beach and spotted her.  Acting quickly, he gently scooped up the rabbit Pokémon and brought her to a Pokémon Center (or PokéCenter) where Nurse Joy and at least 15 Audinos operated on her.  When it was finished Amanda owed her life to the trainer named Chris and stuck by him for he was the second person in her life that showed her affection.  She stayed by him while he beat the Unova Pokémon league and she has been living with his Unova Pokémon ever since.
