Mane years ago, roughly the same time as our universe was made, so was his. He's not from hell, but from an area in which there are exactly 62 demons at all times, and hose 62 demons are locked in an eternal struggle for supremacy. Shadow, as strong as he is, is only ranked as demon 41, meaning that there are 40 stronger and it makes him furious that he can't beat them (number 31 is his sister). Despite being a creature who's suppose to be a war-mongering demon, he has a soft side, along with a soft streak and underbelly for you to scratch.
