History
Born to a rather typical family, Light's father was an alchemist in the military and his mother was a nurse. Both his parents went away to do fighting in one of the wars to the North, but neither of them came back. Light was then sent to live with his mother's best friend Marie, where he stayed until he was 18 years of age, 2 of those years he lived without her. When he was 15 he began to research a new strand of alchemy he sought to use as a way to heal soldiers on the front lines using their own blood, but it went horribly wrong. The result was that Marie died, and his left arm, completely destroyed, had to be replaced by auto-mail. He lied to the military when he was 17 to join, becoming a certified state alchemist, specializing in ice. He is now 21, and travelling the world.

About
He is known as the ice-blood alchemist for a reason. He wears a modified alchemist cloak that keeps him warm during his transmutations and his alchemists gloves have three symbols, one for ice, one for metals, and one so he can quickly alter the metal of his left arm for battle. On his automail arm, inscribed on the palm, is the symbol for blood alchemy, should he ever need to use it.
However he is also quite friendly and laid back, and easy to get to know, just don't piss him off...then again, that's rather difficult to pull off
