Xavier really never did get to know his parents because they were killed while he was still very young.  After living alone till about the age of 15, he was taken in by a band of assassin's that raised him as one of their own and taught him everything they knew.  Seeming to have a keen wit about the arts of assassination, Xavier soon became one of the deadliest alive and no one would really mess with him.

He dislikes most everyone, which has led to him having many enemies.

Although Xavier seems to be a cold blooded killer, he is actually a very kind, gentle, carring person when he isn't in the mindset of having to kill and murder.  One of his favorite hobbies aside from being with what few friends he has is the fact that he loves to cook every chance he gets.
