Dava was a simpleton, living by his own means following the steps of one of his favorite writers, Thoreau. He used to come from a very busy and wealthy family but left that after 16 to pursue his own happiness.

He is interested in almost anything, and this has caused him some problems. There are a few scars on him from asking rather harsh people why they were so upset, etc.

Probably anyone who shuts their mind about something, no matter how much evidence exists he still likes to think that anything is possible in this world.

He wears a simple shirt and a pair of pants, both of which he had fashioned himself from his hard labours back home. Why he is not at his own place he has not yet spoken of. He is well groomed despite his appearance, and is extremely friendly to anyone willing to talk to him.
