He works for Zidane Radek as a field medic and health care technician.

He possesses two vehicles, a black Yamaha YZF-R1 that has recently been upgraded to use a nitrous system, and a black Ford F-250 Diesel pickup truck.

Sabata wears a black T-shirt with a set of dogtags around his neck, and a pair of blue low-rise boot-cut jeans.  He wears a pair of black combat boots and his light camo uniform jacket.  His jacket is adorned with a red cross on the left shoulder, signifying his position as a Medic.  He carries a Falcon 2 semi-automatic pistol with .40 S&W rounds on his right hip, and two spare magazines on its belt.  He has attached two Twinject epinephrine Auto-Injectors to a small mechanism on the underside of each forearm and loaded the injectors with a cyanide/hydrochloric acid mixture.  A beam saber has replaced the Kukri knife that he carried, which is strapped to his belt.

While on duty, he wears a navy blue T-shirt with his last name on the right breast, and his unit number and emblem on the left.  A red cross adorns both shoulders, and his tags hang around his neck.  He wears a pair of forest camo fatigue pants and black combat boots.  His Falcon 2 and spare magazines are still on his hip, but he doesn't wear his beam saber.  Also on his belt are the silencer for his pistol and the 2x scope that can be mounted on its top.

In the field, he favors an AR-15 with a 40-round box magazine, foregrip attachment, and 4x20 scope.  He typically wears the standard flak armor with a helmet, the same insignias on his shoulders.  His Kukri is belted to the side of his right shin, his pistol holstered on his right thigh.  He also carries a K7 Avenger and SuperDragon assault rifles that he uses in the field quite often as well.

On solo missions, he primarily uses his K7 Avenger and SuperDragon rifles, and a silenced Falcon 2 semi-automatic pistol.  

His medical kit contains several rolls of bandages, tape, gauze, wood for splints, scissors, AED, materials for intubation, suction, various medications, and surgical tools.  It also carries extra rations and water for wounded, along with spare ammunition.  He stores this in is rucksack using his ability to contain items in shadow.

He is able to store and retrieve items and weaponry in shadows due to his mastery of dark magick.  He stores a vast cache of weapons, his favorite for close quarters being a Steyr TMP with a 30-round clip.  He also stores his medical kit when off-duty, his Denver tool, and his AR-15 to name a few.

His abilities with dark magick are numerous; he is able to phase in and out of shadows to reappear anywhere he chooses, speak into shadows to have his voice emanate from anywhere else, and can blot out light sources.  He is also able to summon tendrils of dark energy from shadows as well, which are capable of numerous things depending on what he needs.  He is also able to infuse his bullets with dark magick to make them immensely powerful; a single charged pistol round could easily shred a tank.  In addition to this, all of his weaponry and equipment are enchanted with dark magick to prevent them from being tampered with by magick, alchemy, or psionics.

He has a certain knack for handgun sharpshooting and knife combat, picking both of them up with relative ease and skill.

He will not put his own life on the line for a clearly hopeless cause, but he won't hesitate to try and save a life if he can.  His dedication to his job can make him a very distant lover since he is rarely around, but he is confident that he'll find someone who can put up with it eventually.  However, this search will be long and difficult since the spirits that partly possess his mind try to enslave anyone that he tries to get close to.

He practices dark magick, and is careful to not let it take over his mind.  He wears an ancient artifact that keeps the spirits under control as long as he wears it, to keep himself from losing control.

As for his personality, he's a very easygoing person who rarely raises his voice or gets upset.  He has a tendency to say the wrong things at the wrong moments, which can cause problems.  He's incredibly stubborn, and will argue a point for hours if need be.  This sometimes causes arguments between him and his COs which always leads to him being punished in some humiliating way.   Despite those flaws, he is fiercely loyal to his friends, and will do anything to help them.

He lives by five traits that the Fire Academy had beat into his head:  Work Ethic, Moral Character, Pride, Courage, and Integrity.  He values loyalty and trust above all else when it comes to friends, and despises those who betray their allies for any reason.
