Born on Mars, Viper Zaftin trained in the academy of Freedom Fighters. He grew up admiring the three Biker Mice; Modo, Throttle, and Vinnie. He at the age of 16, found a beautiful mouse babe named Maris, he was very fond of her, and loved her dearly. One day during a routine scouting, Maris was kidnapped by an evil space pirate Xerix , Viper searched desperately. Never finding his love, Viper swore he would never love another, and he continues to train ever vigilant. On the first day the three Biker Mice went to earth, Viper set out on his own mission, one that would bring him to USA to Japan. He was never discovered by the others, and kept tabs on their progress. Secretely Viper has a slight attraction to Throttle, but he never said anything to anyone.

Viper a Martian Mouse, is not as big as the three heros from Detroit, he is slightly smaller. He still has the muscular look to him, white furred body with Brown patches throughout his body. Viper is somtimes dressed in a Cadet Military Uniform; Red Beret (He only wears this on occasions, Camo Vest (Left open), Camo Pants (Lots of Pockets), Black combat gloves (He doesn't wear these always.), and Combat boots (Cadet Editions. Although on earth he wears; Black Tee Shirt, Biker jeans (Red in color, with a hole in the right knee.) He wears Biker boots. Sometimes he wears a pony tail, and has two hooped earring in his left ear, a stud in the right. One day while on a road trip, Viper saved Vinnie, and was given his red scarf as a souvenir.

 His Bike is a black hog, fitted with weaponry, and space sheilding. It has several uses as well.
