One day a boy name Derek and his family got ready to move to a new town, placing his hamster and things on the moving truck securely. Ready to go they get on their way, during the drive they hit a really bumpy road which dislodge Chester's cage and sends it crashing to the ground, the young hamster was now lost.

Chester is a fun loving ham-ham on his journey home he finds that the great outdoors holds so many new experiences, he really enjoys climbing trees, rolling and playing ham and go seek.. and other such things.
