Normal otter, if not a bit shy.  He went through school getting teased a lot for shyness... otters are normally happy and playful, but he wasn't necessarily, so... it was a recipe to getting teased and bullied on, even if some people were only trying to be playful about it.  Even to this day he's quite shy, with an additional dose of low self esteem... but he'll be decent to talk to if you get to know him well.

He may be a shy otter, but that doesn't make him as much of a pushover as before.  At times, instinct kicks in, or that everpresent will to fight that most creatures exhibit.  He's also... got other stuff he's had to deal with, not mentioned in his history.  Again, if you get close enough to him, you may just learn about it <3
