How does one describe the birth of an Old God?  Suffice it to say that the manner of his coming into being would shred every last ounce of sanity you have.  His purpose in being here is to observe and learn everything he can, and possibly win a few mortal followers to allow him to bring his masters into the world

Forget global or even galactic domination.  Ys, as he is often called, dominates entire universes.  He also enjoys corrupting mortals, crushing sanity and creating forbidden tomes.

Meddling scholars, nosy mortals, people who resist his mind manipulation.

Of average height and weight, at least outwardly, the being known as Ys-Gethra looks like an average male feline, with plain, unremarkable gray fur. The only thing unusual about him are his eyes, the color of which is impossible to define. He tends to wear a jacket with a large hood with whatever else he may be wearing, despite the oddity of it. The jacket's purpose is to allow him to hide his eyes, or his face if his control over his appearance should waver for even a moment.
