Klytie

Klytie was one of only a very few of her race that survived extinction in ancient times. Seeing that whatever cataclysm was coming would surely destroy them, the faerie miacids selected one child in each village to save from their death by encasing them in a magical seed that would be buried deep underground until such time as it could grow into a great magical tree, which would then blossom a large flower and return them to the world. Klytie was one of the lucky children, being of about the right age that she should be able to survive mostly on her own, using her magic. 

Of course, unfortunately all the miacids that were saved returned at various times throughout history, meaning most never saw another of their own kind throughout their life. Some never even had a chance, as their trees would be somehow destroyed or cut down before they could bloom. 

Klytie managed to avoid this destruction, as her tree grew up strong in a grove far from civilization, that eventually developed into a massive, legendary forest known as the Timeless Wilderness. 

Faerie trees were known to have special powers of their own, and hers indeed helped her to survive through her teenage years, offering her shelter from the weather and predators, and occasionally producing deliciously sweet fruits for her to eat, which gave her enough energy to survive for weeks without eating anything else.

But eventually lonliness became too much and she ventured out into the world, after bidding her tree a fond farewell and promising to return someday.  Since then, she has wandered the world to see what lay beyond the borders of her little nook of the woods.

• Showing off her magic to non-magic users.
• Anything that tastes sweet, especially fruit and sugar.
• Fish.
• Shiny, reflective things.
  
• Waterfalls.
• Playing games.
• Being sneaky.
• Physical affection.
• Occasionally flirting or being perverted.
• Playing (mostly) harmless tricks on people.
  

• Things that taste bitter.
• Pain, and seeing others in pain.
• Deep darkness. (As opposed to normal shadows and nighttim-with-a-clear-sky darkness, which she's fine with, and even finds romantic in some cases)
• Blood.
• Spoil-sports.
• Rules.
• Bossy people.

Being a faerie-kin fur, she is naturally light-weight and energetic. She also naturally has a vast supply of magical energy and knows more than a few ways to use it.

Occasionally, she takes on a special transformation that increases her magical power and enables her to float in the air, in which her fur and the air around her fills with sparkles, her hair turns sky blue, and her tail's bands are replaced with a full rainbow of colored bands. In this state, all her magical abilities are four times more potent than normal. There are  two things that can cause this. The first is that she has a lot of pent-up magic and hasn't been using it much lately. The second is when she is in an especially tense moment, such as from intense excitement, fear, or anger. 

Having been alone for so long, she can be rather flirtacious and overly affectionate towards those she has gotten to know, particularly friends, while being somewhat shy and skittish around new people.  Social norms are an alien concept to her, so she may not always follow them. She also views all sentient, and even some non-sentient, creatures as equals, regardless of how they may act.

She goes naked much of the time, although she has a green skirt and shirt that she wears when she needs to, as well as a pair of white silk panties. All were made from or with the silk webbing of a giant arachnoid she befriended in its last day alive, having accidentally tried to eat a giant, venemous spiny caterpillar. She befriended it by using her magic to dull the pain. (She is good at befriending the most unlikely creatures sometimes...)

Her memory of the past, before she was put into the seed, is hazy at best. And after she was "reborn", she was a bit clumsy for a few days, having some difficulty remembering how to walk. 

On a final note, she is NOT a child anymore. (So don't accuse me of cub yiff or anything <_<; Eesh) She left her tree around the time she turned 17 and has been travelling and exploring for a year or two now. However, being that she grew up alone, added to the fact that she is a faerie-kin, she retains some childlike innocence and personality, as well as a very youthful appearance.
