Ramath born in Turkey; and when his mother died shortly after birth his father could not muster the will to so much as look at the child- leaving him to his god father, who raised him.
His godfather, Kahhasan, was a very strong willed individual who believed in independence of thought and action. Despite his upbringing of detatchment and hardship in the harsh environments of rural Turkey, Ramath grew to be a very caring - if somewhat detatched young man. Leaving his home at the age of 17, pushed away at last by the aging Kahhasan (who wanted to live out the rest of his life on his own, having grown weary of Ramath's constant company)
Shortly After leaving home Ramath had managed to wander and hitchike his way up into Eastern Europe, where he finally decided to attempt to make a living. He currently works as a driver for a shipping company 2 weeks out of the month- which pays him enough to cover rent and occasionally treat himself to a drink out and about.

Music, art, reading, and many other little comforts that tended to be in short supply in his home town (at least, to someone with his meager fiscal resources.) 
In recent years Ramath has quite taken to spending time out about various bars and taverns, though usually just to meet people.
