Darien Blaze Caldwell was born in the UK in Glasgow, Scotland in 1990; however, at the age of fifteen, his family immigrated to the United States for unknown reasons.  Shortly after their arrival, he was separated from them permanently - he lost them in New York, and was forced to fend for himself for three years, doing things he still does not want to think about to allow him to survive while he forced himself through school, where his intelligence allowed him to flower.  At eighteen, he graduated from high school with a need-based scholarship to (INSERT UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE HERE), rather shell-shocked, but with a drive.  He unfortunately lost his scholarship midway through his freshman year; now, at the end of the year, he's deeply in debt and does not see a way out.

Darien Caldwell enjoys intellectual games, German industrial music, writing, and sketching.  He enjoys the company of either sex.
[Y] Dislikes

Darien does not like stupid people.  He does not like intolerant people.  He does not like willfully ignorant people - and because of that, he has disdain for most Republicans unless he knows them personally.

He's uncomfortable with the idea of sex - he doesn't reveal why, except to those he knows well, but it relates to his experiences in high school.

Darien Caldwell has conquered his accent, under pressure from his peers to 'fit in.'  But back in Glasgow, he had an hour a week on a moderately successful TV channel, his show titled "Fire in the Night," as it was on at 11 PM and his middle name was Blaze. 

He generally wears a long-sleeved dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up past the elbow.  He wears a pair of generally black dress pants, and his clothes are disheveled, and look (but don't smell) like they haven't been washed in a few days.  He is embarassed easily, either of himself or of others.

Darien's specialization is firearms - his hands and eyes seem to just come together.  He prefers rifles, but is okay with handguns.

Darien has no friends save one - a wolf named Brennen.  Brennen became his friend through their mutual interest in firearms.
