Long ago, Varianna had been the daughter of Morina, the leader of the Sirens of Silverviel. When she was young and bold she had entered the village against the wishes of her people. It was there she fell in love with the Village leader's son, Collin. He too fell in love with her. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. They spent many days and night together, enjoying each other's company.

The village leader grew wary of the girl, doing some digging into her past. He found no one who claimed her as their daughter in the village which only left one solution. She was a Siren herself and in his eyes, she had bewitched his son.

On the night Collin proposed to her, she was taken from him by men with swords. Varianna was locked away in a small cell for three days before being taken from within. She was scared and crying softly. She looked to Collin who was staring at her, his own eyes filled with tears. As a few of the village men began to tie her hand above her head upon a wooden post just outside the forest, Collin began to plead with his father to spare her.

His pleas were ignored and Varianna was set ablaze, burned for what she was before her lover and before the eyes her mother and sisters. Now she wanders the earth as a spirit, trying to discover why she cannot leave this plane and move on.

Varianna was the only daughter of Morina, Leader of the Sirens of Silverveil. She was born knowing nothing of the gifts she possessed or the dangers that came with them. She had fallen in love with a boy from the village neighboring the forest she called home. Varianna was a pure white feline with mismatched eyes, one green like her mother and one amber like her father whom she never knew. She was slender and graceful with a very playful demeanor unlike her mother whom was more calm and reserved. Varianna was burned at the stake by her fiance, Collin's father. He had discovered that she was a Siren from the forest and killed her as a warning to her mother and all other Sirens living hidden amongst the trees. As she was burning she cried out a curse into the air. Now Varianna is a spirit, trapped in the earthly plane until her curse is complete or the last of the sirens dies and vanishes from the earth. Now she watches over her sisters in the Silverveil forest and sometimes ventures through the town, still curious of all the new things even if she remains unseen by those present.
