Jayce lost his parents and older sister early on in life and was taken to a foster family where he stayed until he was five.  At that point he was taken in by Talia, a black she-wolf.  Jayce lived with Talia who ran a small 'escort' service that catered to all sorts of clients.  Originally, Jayce was kept away from this part of Talia's life but when he turned seventeen he had gotten the whole thing figured out.  He eventually even volunteered to help with it and for the next five years he began to enjoy that job and the company it presented.  At the end of that five years, he decided to go out into the world for a few years to see what else there was but frequently calls home to see how they're all doing, especially Talia.
