Splotch

In a teleportation experiment, the key goal is to break down a subject's molecules in one spot, move those molecules to another spot, then reconstruct them in that new space. In experiment number 25473, this final step went horribly wrong. The result left poor test subject 75 as a pile of green goo. When researches tried to dispose of this goo, however, it protested by bubbling out words and sloshing away, leading to another experiement entirely...

Over time, Test Subject 75 was tested again and again for its intelligence, ability to control it's form, and  so on. After some trials, it was discovered this creature did indeed maintain most of its formal intellect, though its memories were pretty much gone. After some work with the experimenters, 75 was able to regain an anthro form, and speak normally, though it looked "like a gummi-bear version" of whatever person or creature it was attempting to become. After some time, it was viewed as a 'success', and was initially to be used s a surveillance agent for government organizations. Upon hearing of this plan, however, it oozed its way down a drain and was never seen again...
