Minna was born on Earth, not knowing her family. At the age of 18 she signed on with the UNSC. She originally started in the marines, but was quickly scouted for the hell jumpers. She jumped at the oppurtunity. Harvest was her first taste of action against the covenant and it wasn't her last. She was assigned to the spirit of fire for her first tour.
