Hirador was born alone with no one to care for him. As a result, he grew quite adept at shielding his emotions and spent most of his time in snowy mountains; the harsh and lonely environment reflecting his personality well.
He shared few conversations with other creatures until he met a creature that claimed to be a dragon yet walked on two legs. After a time, Hirador learnt that the creature had knowledge of a magic than enabled feral dragons, such as Hirador, to take on a form of a bi-pedial dragon and walk amongst others with very little hassle. Wanting to experience this sensation, Hirador spent time with the other dragon until he had learnt the spell.
Using the spell gave Hirador the chance to leave his mountains and partake in various different activities, most notably reading. It was this hobby that bestowed upon Hirador his moral beliefs and further moulded his personality into a calm, collected, and well spoken individual. However, his love of history had made him into a somewhat outdated dragon, becoming wise before his time and making him difficult to approach to the other dragons, espcially dragonesses.
After spending his time in his true form in the mountains and in his bi-pedial form amongst the rest of the world, Hirador decided it was time he tried to talk to other creatures more often, finding his solitary lifestyle quite lonesome, despite its advantages.
It was then that he came upon a dragoness that shared remarkable similarities to him, aside from having puple scales. The two shared their histories with one another and, as they were both without family, grew attached, looking to one another as if they were siblings.
Hirador likes to read above all, be it fiction or fact. He has a particular liking for history, finding the growth of past empires most intriguing. He also enjoys a healthy debate as long as the other person has the mental capacity for it and has a level of respect for those that are gracious about doing so.
Rudeness. He detests all forms of it and will typically respond with sarcasm or some other form of dry wit, prefering to make the person feel stupid rather than directly insulting them.
Crowds also annoy Hirador, as well as making him feel uncomfortable, finding the difference between wide-open mountain ranges and claustrophobic hallways and streets too much for him to handle.
Tea is typically Hirador's drink of choice, usually cold to reflect his dragon-type. He has been known to drink alcohol on occasion, however, although he does know his limits and will try to prevent himself from lossing control. His favourite food is fish, any type but Cod is one of his favourites.
He prefers night to day due to the moon and stars and will spend quite a few nights on a cliffside facing an open lake, especially on cool, clear nights when the moon is at its fullest. As expected, Winter and Autumn are his favourite seasons and he will try to spend as much of his time as possible on a snowy glacier during the hottest days of the year.
Hirador has had little luck with dragons of his own kind, never having a relationship with one of them past the level of aquaintence. Dragonesses that have pursued him based on his looks have often been daunted when they get to know his personality, although some have lasted longer than most due to his charming sense of chivalry.
He has a close relationship with his sister, Lenora. Shared experiences with missing family members encouraged them to confide in one another and they grew close. They aren't certain whether they are actually brother and sister but they like to think of themselves that way, preferring that option rather than the alternative of being alone.
As a result of his poor relationships, he has never really known the difference between male and female past the obvious biological differences and his isolated upbringing has instilled no sense of traditional male/female relationships. Because of this, although prefering to think of such things only about females, he is actually bi-curious and finds it hard to shake feelings of attraction to members of the same sex who manage to make a lasting impression on him; a difficult task in its own right.
