Once every century, Akhenaten Sed must trick someone into killing him, skinning him and then wearing the complete pelt.  The wearer then becomes the avatar of the animal diety, assuming feral form and being absorbed into the god's consiousness until the cycle begins anew.

 The most current absorbed personality becomes most prevelant, but the past has been known to influence the present, sometimes heavily.  At this time, a young-ish, but good natured human has been absorbed.  He found the full pelt stored in his grandfather's attic and put it on for a lark.

Sleek, lithe, powerful.  All very apt descriptors for this feral wolf.  Rich, deep brown and sable fur, soft and smooth with firey golden eyes housing intense green flecks.  Often described as chips of emeralds swimming in a sea of liquid gold. 

Communication is accomplished via a one-way mental link.  In other words, he can converse through the link to the individual(s) in question, but cannot receive thoughts and cannot read minds.  Others must talk to him.

 Also limited and bound by the constraints of common reality.  Can't do much magic, can't fly, can't

Relationships with mortals are casual at best, guarded at the worst.  Forms no lasting bond as he as far outlived most other beings.  He is a guardian, but of what, even he may have forgotten, so he substitutes for being a guardian of those who need it.
