Both his parents work for big corporations. They have their job titles, but Tai never went out of his way to learn them. All he knows is that because of them, the family is often moving from place to place. He's learned long ago not to really try to make friends, though he does keep in contact with one friend he made in Wisconsin. He had started to find himself attracted more and more to males sometime during the last school year, when a very kind jock defended him from some bullies and befriended him. His family's stance on homosexuality, though not outright prejudice, isn't the most tolerant either, so he has been going out of his way trying to keep as far back in the closet as he can. So far only his older sister knows, and though she teases him about it, she loves him and won't out him until he's good and ready.
Drawing, music, sketching, computers, line art, other guys *coughs* and his sketchbook and pencils and pens.
Yes, it's rare to find him without his sketchbook, or at least without the cherrywood case he keeps it and his pencils and pens in. His favorite thing to do is to simply sit at the base of one of the trees on campus and sketch out different people who catch his eye for one reason or another. He does show what he's drawing, from time to time, if someone asks nicely enough and he's in a decent mood, but as for the sketchbook as a whole, he guards it with his life, refusing to let anyone simply paruse through it. From time to time he'll be found with earbuds in his small ears, Nightwish or Disturbed playing on his mp3 player as he draws.
Racism, being Japanese himself, true emo kids, and people teasing him about being homosexual, since he's been caught staring at one or two guys in the past. Also, make a grab for his sketchbook and risk losing a paw.
He looks a lot like your typical fifteen year old emo kid thanks to being slow to grow, and often gives the impression of being one despite never complaining about life or any of the drama most emos do. Being a stoat, he's quite strong, but he looks like he's all skin and bones and fur, his body long with a slight build. He favors oversized band t-shirts, some of the large enough to hang off of one shoulder, and really baggy black cargo pants that has a thick silver chain leading from his front belt loop to his wallet in his back pocket. He often tries to give off the air of being unapproachable, perfectly content with being left alone with his drawings, but he tends to falter from time to time.
Mina- His nineteen-year-old sister and, though he'd never admit it, his closest friend.
