Y'ddrannoch Chintsu

Originally part of the 15 Captain Army under the Lordship of Lord General of the underworld, 'Noch' as he was called, had found himself holding the great title of Captain.  One earned their place in the army by how one's talent stacked against the other court captains.  Strength, cunning and magic prowess decided what placement one recieved after graduating the academy of the underworld.  It was put in place after the overthrow and death of God King Geldo Heiss mellinas ago by Dahn Morrigahn.

Despite being a creature of the underworld, he is not inherently evil although his mindset could be considered as such.  He is of the Noblesse of the Devil-Kin and has several peasant workers on his lands in the underworld.  His gift in the dark arts has given him reign over the abilities of Fire, Ice and Destructive spells.  He is one of the few Captains to have mastered opposing arts.

Given the great cataclysm of the death of the God King, the underworld was basically a wasteland.  Hundreds of years passed before beings like the darkling emerged from spirits that had fettered too long in the underworld that willed themselves darkened humanoid shapes though misshapen with sharp claws and below average wit.  Those of the demons that remained and escaped the battles hid away until strong enough to emerge once more.  These were the Devil-Kin who bore similarities to the surface world when the chosen human race died out.  Meaning these took bodies that appeared anthro of mostly cannine or feline even though the surface world bore great many other races.

These were the ones that shaped the land anew and took from the ashes of the old underworld and brought it back up.  The now aging Lord General is one of the last living Devil-Kin from those days.  The current Generation of Devil-Kin luckily did not live in such harsh times.  Noch however has only lived a few hundred years a native Devil-Kin and not a lost soul with power given shape.  He had worked his way through the academy after finding his talents upon punishing his peasants.  Seeking to hone his power he found himself passing and gaining top seat in the 15 court Captains.

After the advent of Ald'Roun  invasion, Noch was given an assignment under behest of the Lord General and Captain Seat 2.   Having been outranked by two levels as he was Captain Seat 4 he was sent on mission to the court mages to seek out one of the remaining living of the Kingdom of Morrigahn,  Dissius.    The troops did not finish their job having seen their lead officer killed by this fox and fleeing the scene leaving him to die impaled.  Having the news of his survival reached the underworld.  This was his assignment follow the traces of the fox under the Mage's supervision and travel through a portal they open.

Finding Dissius, Noch confronted him and lost being very much humiliated by being impaled just as Dissius was and left to contemplate his loss.  Now unable to return to the Underworld, Noch now seeks means to attain a status similar to his Captain rank.  Though bested, the Captain has come to terms with his loss and now has given up revenge upon Dissius and seeks his status replacement and perhaps a way back home.

Pretty much anyone who pisses him off.

Appears somewhat cannine.  Although of demon blood, Noch tends to follow things through thought before he takes action.  He's loyal to his order under the rule of the Lord General which the society under him resembles that of a samurai shogunate.  Keeping honor to the Lord General is very important to him.  He would wring his own mother's neck if it meant he would be able to protect the Order.
