The Raven's father was one of a select few who received superpowers in a mysterious incident many years ago; he chose to use his powers for good, whereas others were driven mad by the changes wrought upon them and turned to a life of crime. Unlike most other superheroes, The Guardian only had his superpowers at night and so was able to live an ordinary life by day: he fell in love and eventually had a child, wh grew up to be The Raven!

A young superheroine with the powers of flight, superstrength and invulnerability, but only by night; by day, she is an ordinary person. She inherited her superpowers from her father, The Guardian.

The Raven still fights against her father's old nemesis, Goliath, who's incredible strength & invulnerability drew him into a life of crime. Unable to control his power, he cannot make love to any woman without seriously injuring or even killing her and the sexual frustration has made him deranged and desperate.
