Hubris "CK" the cat grew up bouncing from house to house between Ogden and Salt Lake City, frequenting the most drug-torn and turbulent areas. He quickly adapted to the lifestyle and slowly climbed the ranking ladder to be a proclaimed 'Kingpin' of drug distribution over a 5 county area.
Hubris his childhood with his single mother, having to be the man of the house to help his mother and himself survive. They bounced around houses a lot, mostly due to Hubris' mother's struggle to find a stable job. He had his first run-in with the law when he was 14, had a bout with the probation department for about a year, bounced back and forth between foster and group homes between 15 and 17, and was released at 17.

He returned to his most familiar 'home,' the streets of Ogden, his home town. He quickly gained a reputation and moved from making $10 drug sales to closing $1,000 deals with hundreds in the profit margin. His most sacred value is being dangerous, the only thing he feels threatened by is somebody trying to move in on the territory he's fought to take over.

After escaping his dance with the Devil in the drug game, he enlisted as an Infantryman in the United States Marine Corps, once again following in his fight to maintain a believable illusion of being a dangerous man.

 Despite being a rather cold cat, and being in a position commanding more fear than respect, Hubris is actually a loving, caring creature. His only true fears are dying alone, and dying without leaving any lasting impression from the intentions of his actions. He lives under the colloquialism "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions...so they say."

Hubris is also now employed as the security guard for the Backstreet bar.

Hubris is one to indulge in the small details of life. He enjoys making new friends, meeting new people, listening and talking about music and movies. He's a hardcore gamer! And a bit of an adrenaline junky; Freestyle BMX, mountain-boarding, snowboarding, MMA...
Hubris is always up for an intellectually stimulating conversation! He finds it hard to associate with other 19 year olds due to the lack of maturity in his age group; He loves conversations where both parties can respectfully, and calmly, discuss the differences in each others' opinions.
